As well as promoting events, I have coordinated and managed a range of events for clients, including seminars and conferences, new company and product launches, office openings, VIP and fundraising events.
Major events organised include:
- The Commonwealth Elders Forum (virtual)
- The Guinness World Record attempt for the largest Charleston dance participants (record achieved at 1096 participants)
- The inaugural Commonwealth Elders Forum (connected to The Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting)
Event Promotion
When it comes to promoting an event, getting the maximum exposure is essential.
It’s not just about coverage in media, it’s about exploring new avenues.
From a church pet blessing ceremony to national and international events, I can find opportunities and make suggestions to promote your event to the target audience.

Media Offices
My experience extends to setting-up and managing event media offices, recruiting and training press officers, and event crisis management planning and implementation.
Hosting guests
In addition, having managed a busy wine bar and tour groups, my people management and customer service skills are excellent. I worked on the Xcat Racing event on the Gold Coast assisting with hospitality arrangements, and hosted 16 delegates from developing countries on behalf of CommonAge at the ACSA/IHASA conference in Perth.
Working with Kuoni Destination Management, I took on a number of hosting/on-event management roles for its clients including: International Motor Sports, Costa Cruises, Subaru World Rally Team Travel Club and the European Association of Chemical Distributors Annual Congress.
